Jeff Lemire’s “Sweet Tooth” is one of the most beloved books around these parts, and it is no stranger to featuring guest artists. Issue #19 will feature Multiversity favorite Emi Lenox, Matt Kindt and Nate Powell providing art, and we’re really excited about the prospect.
Today on Twitter, an even more enticing guest reared his head: Rafael Albuquerque.
It turns out that Albuquerque is a big fan of “Sweet Tooth” and shared that love with a beautiful illustration he made of lead character Gus. This led into a chain of tweets between Albuquerque, Lemire, and American Vampire writer Scott Snyder, as they all agreed that Albuquerque should draw an issue of “Sweet Tooth” and Lemire should illustrate an issue of “American Vampire.”
