In a visual press release that arrived over the weekend in our inboxes, it looks like famed comic duo Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning are returning to BOOM! Studios for more cosmic comics.

Some of you may remember the various Stan Lee titles that BOOM! released between 2010 and 2011, from the Traveler and Starborn to Soldier Zero. Zero, which was originally written by Paul Cornell, was handed off to Abnett and Lanning at the end of the first arc who took the title to its end a year later. It looks like DnA (as they are affectionately known amongst comic fans) had a good time at BOOM!, as they are returning for something else later this year.

What that title is, we have no clue — but given the proven strength of the team and their established work in the Marvel Cosmic realm (from “Annihilation” to “Thanos Initiative” and beyond) let alone their “Authority” work at Wildstorm, we have high hopes for the best.

We’ll let you know more as we find it out.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
