Yesterday on the Source blog, DC revealed the interior design for the Absolute Identity Crisis hardcover coming out later this year. The image, as illustrated by Identity Crisis’ Rags Morales, features the book’s main cast from the controversial but popular tale that has become a staple in DC’s modern continuity. It’s quite a gorgeous cover at that, being particularly poignant for those who know the tale’s outcome, with the page saying “PROTECT YOURSELF” in the corner and the Atom sitting on the Elongated Man’s shoulder being particularly noteworthy elements.

Absolute Identity Crisis is on sale in October for $100 big ones, but it’ll be pretty sad to see this image colored once it comes out.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
