In news broken on Deadline.com, Adrianne Palicki, best known for her work on Friday Night Lights, and if you’re a fan of quickly canceled FOX shows, Lone Star, has been cast as the Amazonian Princess/badass, Wonder Woman. Interestingly enough, she was the only one who was invited to screentest for the role, as well.
In a bit of trivia that I think only I remember: this isn’t her first rodeo when it comes to superhero pilots. Waaaaaay back in 2006, she was cast as the villain in the Aquaman pilot, which unfortunately didn’t make it to the airwaves. Here’s hoping she has better luck this time.
