You know what is one of our all-time favorite comic books? All Star Superman. We’ve written about it multiple times on the site, and it is largely considered amongst fans everywhere to be one of the greatest modern comics of at least the past ten decades. DC even made an animated film out of it, which was pretty damn good for an adaptation. Of course, you can only buy it in either two fairly inexpensive volumes or one massive (out of print) Absolute collection.
Not so much anymore! In October of this year, DC will be putting out a one volume edition of the entire wonderful twelve issue story. If you have somehow not bought this title by now (and if you haven’t, I have to ask why not?), now would honestly be the time to put in your pre-order. This is by far a comic book that every comic collector needs to own.
And I just bought my nephew the two volumes for his birthday… oops!
