Apple No Longer Supports Sex Criminals

The book. We’re talking about the book.

As tweeted by series artist, Chip Zdarsky:

“Sex Criminals” was the subject of the latest ‘Apple Hates Sexy Books’ controversy after “Saga” and “Sex” when “Sex Criminals” #2 underwent a long review process at Apple. It was eventually 100% rejected, most likely due to the part where there is a bit of floating male ejaculate (“cum”, as we call it in the biz) suspended in mid-air and investigated by the lead character. It appears that Apple is now just 100% not supporting the book in their digital market, most likely for being just too sexy.

Which is a shame because, y’know, the book is amazing. But hey, what do we know; we’re just a bunch of perverts who support eerie lifestlyes.

On the plus side, you can still get Zack and Miri Make a Porno, because while animated boobs and butts and wieners and vaginas are just too much, naked Seth Rogen is what we deserve.

If you would like to tell Apple to digitally go screw themselves, you can always download “Sex Criminals” on Comixology and sync it to your iOS device, or buy yourself a digital copy direct from Image of either Issue #1 or Issue #2.

The worldwide masturbation-thon hosted by the “Sex Criminals” in protest of Apple’s decision is still pending a date and time.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
