Last week, we got the unfortunate information that several Marvel staff members had been let go, including popular and talented editor Alejandro Arbona. However, not one to let bad news get him down, Arbona was quick to inform followers that he was still working as an editor on several books, including staying on with Casanova and a new title called Sacrifice.
Written by the twisted mind behind the (soon to be released by Image) Our Love Is Real writer Sam Humphries and featuring Dalton Rose on art, Sacrifice is about — … well, we have no idea. Yet, anyway. It has something to do with azteks and blood, and it will see a December release, despite no solicitation to be found from any company. It is highly possible that this, like Our Love Is Real, will see an independent release online/in specific stores before a wide release, but for now we know as much as you do.
However, one thing is for certain: with Humphries writing, Rose illustrating and Arbona editing, you’re going to want to have this book in your collection.
