“Archie vs. Predator 2” by de Campi and Hack Announced

Writer Alex de Campi is returning to Riverdale, alongside artist Robert Hack (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), for a sequel to 2015’s “Archie vs. Predator.”

After the destruction of Riverdale in the first series, Betty and Veronica are forced to take drastic measures to restore life in Riverdale to the way it was before – all while Predators are preparing to launch an attack. The series has been described as a “meta-commentary on corporate franchise reboots” by de Campi.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Archie Comics co-President Alex Segura said, “The first question people are going to be asking is, ‘But…how?’ and, for my money, that’s the best mind-set to have when you’re talking crossovers. Alex de Campi wrote an iconic, legendary mashup. […] The fact that we got superstar Robert Hack to bring it to life is sure to make the end result one of the most bonkers, visceral and off-the-wall events in comic book history.”

“Archie vs. Predator 2” will be a five-issue limited series and will launch in comic stores and digitally July 24, 2019. Variant covers for the first issue will be available from Rick Burchett and Rosario “Tito” Peña, Derek Charm, Francesco Francavilla, Dan Parent, and Billy Tucci with Wes Hartman.
