Arrow, CW’s latest superhero show in the wake of Smallville telling the story of Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow, surprised a lot of fans with just how good it was. I mean, it was still a soapy little teen drama show in the true CW way, but it was also a decent superhero show. Queen was forced into tough decisions and made the touch choices, and in between the glitz and the glam and everybody being just so good looking, there was a rather decent story involved.
So with Season 2 of the show, things are going to get ramped up. Michael Jai White and Kevin Alejandro are joining as villains (Bronze Tiger (!!!) and Baron Blood, respectively), Summer Glau has a role and — hey, who is that superheroine commonly referenced with Green Arrow? They were married for a while or something, right? What’s her name… oh, I’m forgetting. It’s, like, a color and a bird or something, right?
Writing a million news articles SDCC weekend has taken its toll on my ability at good humor in these posts, clearly.
Either way, take a watch of the trailer for Season 2 above and get excited for the return of the series, if that was a thing you enjoyed for the first season.
