In a move that is absolute perfection, in today’s announced Marvel solicits it was revealed that Francesco Francavilla will be working on an arc (he says on Twitter “five or six issues”) of Ed Brubaker’s Captain America & Bucky book starting with issue #625 (he’ll be joined on this arc by James Asmus instead of Marc Andreyko as well).

While it’s a shame to see Chris Samnee go, his Comic Twart brethren Francavilla is a perfect fit for the look and feel of the book, and I can’t wait to see what he brings to the table. Anything new from Francavilla is a gift for comic fans – this guy is an incredible artist.

Look for that coming in December.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
