Most of you by now have heard of an amazing little webcomic called Axe Cop, written by a five year old and illustrated by his older brother. Dark Horse will now be printing a collection of the online comic, as well as a mini-series in 2011.

According to Malachai, the writer of the title, the book will be a hardcover collection with 1,000 pages in full cover, as well as pop-ups on every page and a build in videogame. The comic will also turn into a giant robot that you can get inside, with an arm cannon (like Iron Man but gianter) and it can make it’s own his army. Needless to say, this sounds like an instant buy.

For an interview with Ethan, the older brother and artist, check out Comics Alliance who broke the news. Keep your eyes open in stores for this hardcover collection, and for those at Comic Con this year be sure to stop by the Axe Cop booth.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
