Barnes & Noble "Sale" Coming Together

Something very odd is going on in the world of comics. Now, as revealed by Rich Johnston of Bleeding Cool, Barnes & Noble.com is having a “sale” of some of their comic omnibuses quite like the Amazon one. This time, we have only three confirmed titles: an omnibus of Alan Moore and Alan Davis’ run on Captain Britain; Bendis/Maleev’s Daredevil Vol. 2; and a Tomb of Dracula ominbus. All of those titles are showing up at $10.79 from a “regular” rate of $14.99.

Something fishy is happening in the world of comics, as it’s a little convenient that two “glitches” are have occurred within a week of each other on two major book sellers online. We’ll see if this one goes through, but I can tell you, I ordered two of them and they both “went through.” Whether this ends with me being the proud owner of two new omnibuses, a $25 credit, or jail time remains to be seen.
