Batman: Arkham Asylum was one of the most popular comic book videogames of all time, perhaps even the most popular. It was almost entirely universal in it’s acclaim, and it definitely set itself up for a sequel. Today, DCE announced what the title would be: Arkham City.
We’ve seen the teaser trailer by now, and we did see that the trailer moves outside of Arkham throughout the city with a (somehow) still alive Joker. We also got brief teases of villains like Black Mask, as well as confirmation that Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, Talia al Ghul, Riddler and Catwoman will be in the game. We also know that this is the last time Mark Hamill will play the Joker. So I suppose saying that expectations are high with this game is probably to put it lightly.
Here’s hoping that if there’s a special edition, it doesn’t arrive broken for most of the people who pre-ordered!
