Comics are certainly no strangers to delays. Things happen, people get sick, projects get pushed into backburners, etcetera. Hearing that one of your favorite books will not be coming out on time is sad, but it is an inescapable fact of life at this point: if you read comics, don’t expect to always read them on time.
With that in mind, it looks like DC’s Batman Inc. is now on an impossible schedule. Batman Inc #8 is solicited to come out on August 24th, yet issue #9 is solicited for next week (with #10 also being released on the 24th). CBR, as part of their late comics round-up article, contacted DC about the delay, to which they were given the exclusive that #8 will be released at the end of this month and #9 and #10 will be resolicited into an over-sized one-shot called Batman: Leviathan Strikes, which will act as a bridge between Batman Inc #8 and the Batman: Leviathan mini-series of 2012.
So I suppose Grant Morrison fans should just look forward to that at some point in the future, and try not to mumble or grumble too much about this relaunch not letting our late comics to just be late anymore. Bah humbug.
