DC Comics have announced a series of one-shots that will highlight different members of the Bat-Family called “Batman Secret Files.” The series will launch with “Batman Secret Files: The Signal” #1, by writer Tony Patrick (“Batman and the Signal”) and artist Christian Duce (“The Flash”) on July 6. This will be followed by “Batman Secret Files: Huntress” #1, by writer Mariko Tamaki (“Detective Comics”) and artist David Lapham (“Stray Bullets”), on July 27. Future creative teams, along with their respective characters, have not been announced at this time.

“Batman Secret Files: The Signal” will see Duke Thomas returning to Gotham City after his sabbatical to find it, and those who live there, dramatically different than before. With Batman finding the mysterious weapon-trafficking White Market elusive, The Signal will seek to reveal its secrets.

Tamaki and Lapham’s “Batman Secret Files: Huntress” will see the titular hero on the trail of Vile, after he enhanced the abilities of the parasite in her brain, forcing her to bear witness to Vile’s villainy through his victims’ eyes.

Both one-shots will be 40 pages in length, with main covers by Ken Lashley and Irvin Rodriguez, and variants by Cully Hamner and Riccardo Federici, for “The Signal” and “Huntress,” respectively. You can see all of the covers here.
