In addition to the highly anticipated animated version of the classic, it was announced via TV Guide that Catwoman would also get her own solo stint on the upcoming DVD release.

Written by Paul Dini, the story finds Selina (once again voiced by Eliza Dushku, who is voicing Selina in the film) on the run from a mob boss named Rough Cut (voiced by John DiMaggio) in what is being described as “a breathless and brutal 15-minute chase through Gotham City tracking down a mysterious cargo shipment.”

Not much more is said than that, and the only image we have is the above one, so we don’t know if this will be tying into the main storyline or not. However, fans of Dushku’s work and her role in the film will assumedly be pleased with the announcement.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
