Released as part of the Green Lantern: Emerald Knights animated film, the above video is the world’s first look at the upcoming Batman: Year One animated film, starring Bryan Cranston as Lt. Jim Gordon. It’s a rather in depth look, running ten minutes, but for any purists out there who swear by this story I’d imagine you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail here. Not to mention the excellent casting/voice acting of Bryan Cranston, who has gone so much farther in his career than just “Malcolm’s Dad.” (Seriously. Watch Breaking Bad.)
