Airing in just about two weeks time on the 23rd, the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special “The Day of the Doctor” is sure to blow doors down after the climactic finale to the last season that teed this up to possibly be the most controversial Doctor Who episode ever. Simulcast globally and in theaters in 3D, this is the Doctor Who event to end all events.

But it’s two weeks away. What are you going to do about that?

Well, you can watch a 7 minute minisode called “the Night of the Doctor” that sets the stage as a short prelude to the special for starters. And you can even do it right here on this site, because we like things being convenient. If nothing else, it should certainly make you even more anticipatory for the TV event, no matter which end of the spectrum you’re on.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
