Due to the inherent success the mini is currently (not to mention the good reviews I have been giving it here on the site), DC decided to turn Batman Beyond from a mini into an ongoing. The best news to that is that writer Adam Beechen and artist Ryan Benjamin will be staying on to do the main story as reported at DCU’s The Source. Hooray!

Not much else is known, and it is speculated that there will be further updates at NYCC (which starts Friday), so keep your ears peeled.

Take a look at the cover to issue 1 on the left and be on the lookout for the ongoing that starts in January!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
