Over on the Facebook page of THE OFFICIAL ACTUAL REAL BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS, the aforementioned writer decided to tease the return of two of his collaborative efforts with Mike Oeming. Bendis and Oeming, having created the critically acclaimed and quite wonderful comic Powers, put together the all-ages graphic novel Takio last year, which in turn put Powers on hold for the time being.
But now, Oeming being the apparent champ that he is, has turned in both work for the upcoming Takio sequel and is gearing up for the long delayed return of Powers volume 3 with issue #8, supposedly out next month — and if you’re anything like us, you really want Powers to return already.
Take in the first look at Takio volume 2 above, and get ready for a creator-owned year from Bendis, with new Powers, Scarlet, Brilliant and Takio all heading your way.
