Benedict Cumberbatch Doesn’t Know How To Count, New Clip Reveals

Benedict Cumberbatch, star of The Fifth Estate and Burlesque Fairytales, recently appeared on stalwart television program Sesame Street where the popular thespian revealed to the nation that he does not know how to count. Kidnapped by his puppet arch-nemesis Murray-arty in a clip entitled “Benedict Cumberbatch and the Sign of Four (or is it Three?)”, the actor finds himself being tortured for his appearance on hit show Sherlock (a British remake of Elementary) and forced to solve a puzzle which he could not possibly solve, specifically because he never learned how to count.

Luckily, there’s a character on Sesame Street who really likes to count! Unfortunately Cookie Monster was unavailable, so they got some new vampire puppet I’m not familiar with.

Ah well. If only Sherlock Hemlock was available, maybe they could’ve gotten someone competent to do the job. Either way, enjoy the clip because it has jokes in reference to a television show we like to cover on this site, and also because it’s amusing and a slow news day. At the very least it proves that Sesame Street is still great.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
