Bid On ROM Artwork To Benefit Bill Mantlo

Sometimes you just have to love how the comic community can band together and do something great.

20 years ago, Bill Mantlo (writer of ROM Spaceknight) was left paralyzed in a hit and run accident. Floating World Comics has since arranged for several artists to create new and original ROM art, all of which is currently up on eBay and all of which is going to benefit him. If there was ever a time to bid on a last minute somewhat late gift for the holiday season, I do believe now would be the time.

We mention ROM here a lot at Multiversity, and that’s only because as much as we joke, the character did have staying power. We’d certainly love to see him come back, but in the mean time, check out Floating World Comics’ eBay account to bid on prints and original art, or visit their blog to see more images of ROM art, both new and old.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
