Black Panther Is The Man Without Fear

So, Marvel wasn’t kidding. With Daredevil ending and Matt Murdock no longer being the Man Without Fear, the title really is being passed along – to the Black Panther. More specifically, T’challa. It seems his sister will be a bit tied up during the Klaws mini event. Daredevil #512 will now turn into Black Panther: Man Without Fear #513.

According to Butler’s report, this new story “finds the Black Panther living outside of his kingdom and rebuilding his life without any of his trademark tech.” The book will be written by David Liss wirth art by Francesco Francavilla, who did all the art for the original teasers.

I’m honestly surprised. I really didn’t think they’d actually give anyone else the title, let alone the book. What this means for Matt Murdock certainly doesn’t bode well, though. What are your thoughts? Are you excited for the change? Surprised? Excited? Let us know in the comments below.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
