Big news out of today’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” panel at San Diego Comic Con, as a video played for the audience starring Patton Oswalt’s Agent Koenig shared that a new member of the team will be Bobbi Morse, who you may know as Mockingbird. This character, long associated with the Avengers (or, for me, the West Coast Avengers), is a pretty badass one, and someone who has a skill set that would fit well in the show. Mockingbird has been the on-again/off-again love of Hawkeye (they were once married), so it will be interesting to see if her role cascades into the Avengers films at all, although I highly doubt it.
No one has been cast yet, but for fans of the show, this is a pretty sweet addition to the cast. Check out the video above for Patton Oswalt related shenanigans, and yay Mockingbird! Somewhere, Jim McCann is smiling, along with much of Multiversity.
