UPDATE #1: BOOM! has sent over a new teaser image for an upcoming series called Space Warped, featuring a Star Wars parody cover (image available after the cut).

UPDATE #2: BOOM! has sent over a new teaser image featuring Word Girl, a popular PBS Kids character, who is now getting her own comic series on Kaboom (image available after the cut).

The above image was released by BOOM! Studios yesterday, announcing that their previously named Boom 2.0 is now their new kids division, Kaboom. In addition to the name change (and the various all ages/kids comics we’ve reported on them getting in the past couple days, with Classic Mickey and Scrooge titles in the mix), it looks like they’re also going to be printing Peanuts cartoons (although if they’re new or old is unknown as of now) as well as new stuff by fan-favorite all-ages writer Roger Langridge (from Thor: The Mighty Avenger!). For those who are actively looking for all-ages comics within the medium, might we direct your attention here?

For the Peanuts and Langridge images, check behind the cut. We’ll update with any additional information as we get it.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
