BOOM! Studio released a teaser for it on Monday, but now they’ve revealed through IGN that Steven Grant will be writing an adaptation of Frank Miller’s original Robocop 3 screenplay, titled “Robocop: Last Stand”. The series will be an 8-issue miniseries starting in August and illustrated by Korkut Oztekin with the above cover from Declan Shalvey.
This isn’t the first time Grant has written an adaptation of one of Miller’s Robocop scripts as he wrote an adaptation of Robocop 2 with Avatar Press. Over at Newsarama, BOOM! VP of publishing and marketing Filip Sablik said that BOOM! is planning on releasing that series as a deluxe hardcover.
