As reported over at Comics Alliance, it looks like BOOM! Studios is going to be publishing a new “Adventure Time” spin-off mini, this time starring the gender-swapped characters from the “Fionna and Cake” episode of the show. The comic will be written and illustrated by Natasha Allegri, Adventure Time storyboard artist and creator of the variant characters, and will run in addition to the main ongoing.
The synopsis is as follows:
