June 22, 2010 – Los Angeles – BOOM! Town, an imprint of BOOM! Studios, announced today that R. Crumb’s MR. NATURAL POSTCARD BOOK arrives in stores August.
Robert Crumb’s fly-by-night white-bearded guru, Mr. Natural, is an icon of the 70s hippie era and probably Crumb’s most famous character. This book features twenty-four all-different images of the Natch with his most famous follower Flakey Foot, plus Devil Girl and others, dispensing advice on all manner of subjects. All on heavy card stock, perforated for easy removal, whether for mailing or putting on a bulletin board or fridge door.
