Not only did we get a full length Serenity graphic novel on the shelves last week, but over the last two days USA Today and Dark Horse have released a brand new 8 page Serenity story on the USA Today website, from the Shepherd’s Tale creative team of Zack Whedon and Chris Samnee. Whether this story was specifically commissioned for this purpose or was just a deleted scene from The Shepherd’s Tale remains to be seen, but the result remains the same: this one is a fun as hell slice of life starring the crew of the good ship Serenity.
