“Exclusively” on Twitter, Brian Bendis has revealed that Vinnie Jones will be playing Johnny Royale, a villain who plays a pivotal role in the early days of Powers.
Powers is currently filming it’s pilot episode for FX with Brian Bendis and Mike Oeming on set, both of whom have been teasing fans as to what we can expect for the upcoming show. Starring Jason Patrick and Lucy Punch as Walker and Pilgrim, respectively, the show is adding Jones fresh off a villainous stint in NBC’s The Cape (and hopefully this superhero-related venture fares differently for him).
He will be joining the super-powered cast of Alona Tal as Zora, Carly Foulkes as Retro Girl, and Titus Welliver as Triphammer.
