Not to comics or anything, but even so. When a great writer who truly had an impact with fans of the medium leaves us and then doesn’t have a project for a little while, obviously the second we hear about new stuff we’ll pay attention.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, BKV has signed with Verve, a talent agency out of LA. Upon doing so, it looks like he’s going to be working on a brand new screenplay – that he also plans to direct! – as well as “several new projects across various media.” Various media, you say? Hmm.
BKV is no stranger to screenplays. He has written several teleplays for the show LOST, and he’s even penned screenplays for various film versions of his work, including the screenplay of Y: The Last Man, Runaways, and Ex Machina. It’ll be interesting to see what he comes up with next, and we’ll be watching quietly in the meantime.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
