Our boy Brian K. Vaughan has been awfully quiet after the end of Ex-Machina, with no comic projects on the pathway and just…not a whole lot else going on. But according to Deadline Hollywood (via ComicsAlliance) it looks like BKV will be making a return, but one to the world of Television.

Having previously been a staff writer for Lost, BKV will return with “Smokers,” a production by Sam Raimi’s Stars Road Entertainment. This series was created by BKV and is “about a documentary crew following working class heroes who exterminate alien threats in deep space.”

Whether or not this will actually be produced is uncertain, but I can say that concept sounds awesome. Here’s hoping it comes to fruition, as any BKV is better than no BKV.
