Brightest Day Variants Creating Curious Puzzle

As many people have begun to notice, the variant images of returned heroes and villains are beginning to form a shape in between when placed together. To be honest, when I first saw the Aquaman variant, I just that “geez, that is an ugly variant.” I still agree to that on their own, but the picture they form is interesting.

As seen here, when placed together we begin to see all the entities forming. We’ve got the White Entity and Nekron at the top, with Parallax and Ion below. A forest begins to form, as well as the Indigo Entity with Professor Zoom. So what does it all mean? Is this the forest we’ve seen at Star City, or something different?

There are still five covers left to go by my count, so it should be interesting to see what takes shape at the end and how it will tie in to the saga of the Brightest Day. Be sure to take a look here at the ComicBloc Forums for further speculation on what’s going on.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
