And holy wow is it intense. These pictures all put together are taller than the artist is! And who is the dapper artist behind this extraordinary piece? Why, it’s Shane Davis! You might know him (in the future) as the artist working on Superman: Earth One with JMS. If you weren’t sure about the talent the man has before, I bet you’re pretty set now, eh?
The Road Home will be comprised of a series of one-shots culminating in Batman: The Return, by Grant Morrison and David Finch. The books, from left to right on the image, are Batman and Robin, Red Robin, Batgirl, Ra’s Al Ghul, Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, Oracle, and the Outsiders. Should be a fun set of one-shots, and each will begin where each character is headed in the returned Wayne’s world (yes, I had to write it that way).
