So that tweet up there happened. Let me be the first to provide you fair, balanced and well written analysis of this news:
OHMYGODTHEYAREMAKINGANAPOCALYPSEXMENMOVIEOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODYESTHISISAWESOME.
Following on the heels of the as of yet unreleased X-Men: Days of Future Past film will be this one in 2016, which assumably will feature Apocalypse – hopefully in his full blue glory with his badass wrestling champion belt with the A on it – squaring off against the X-Men. The concept of Apocalypse being in an X-Men movie is pretty much the coolest thing on the planet to the 8-year old that inhabits my body, but it is undoubtedly a concept with potential for issues and/or ridiculousness.
Regardless of what potential it may or may not have towards the negative, holy shit you guys, Apocalypse.
That is awesome.
