Normally we save this sort of thing for our solicit analysis articles (coming next week to a website near you), but this was one of those things we couldn’t wait for.
Come March 2013, Cullen Bunn will be writing and Ramon Rosanas will be illustrating an “Ultimate Comics Wolverine” mini-series, a story that will dive into the current not-Wolverine Jimmy Hudson’s past to reveal where he came from.
Featuring a cover by Hudson’s original co-creator Art Adams, this is a nice little replacement for Bunn not writing the further adventures of Wolverine, what with those two series by Frank Cho, Paul Cornell and Alan Davis respectfully. An Ultimate series should certainly give Bunn a chance to cut loose a bit more, and having Ramon Rasonas back on art for Marvel is definitely exciting news all on its own.
