C2E2 2013: Shaolin Cowboy FINALLY To Resume Making Everything Else Look Like Crap

Announced at C2E2 (but with no attached press release, shockingly!) the joyous news that Geof Darrow will be bringing “Shaolin Cowboy” back to Dark Horse this year was announced (exclusively at Comic Book Resources).

Originally published over seven issues at Darrow and the Wachowski’s Burly Man imprint, we haven’t seen little more than pin-ups of the Cowboy and his mule since 2007 alongside a prose book. Dark Horse had originally announced that “Shaolin Cowboy” would return back at NYCC 2011, but all good things come to those who wait apparently because the news of the return is nothing short of epic: “Shaolin Cowboy” will release as a three-issue monthly from Dark Horse, with the second issue clocking in 64 pages alone. 64 pages of Geoff Darrow/Shaolin Cowboy ass-kicking goodness.

Our headline says it all, kids.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
