C2E2: Pak’s Incredible Hulk Ends With "Heart of the Monster"

Greg Pak has probably had one of the most influential hands in the Hulk in recent memories, aside from Jeph Loeb. Pak took the Hulk to space where he ruled a planet, had the Hulk wage war with Earth, and then brought Hulk and his son (and extended family, for that matter) together. And now Pak is gearing up for the end.

Starting in June with #630 and ending a running through #635 is Pak’s last Hulk story, Heart of the Monster. Featuring art by Paul Pelletier, who did work on the Incredible Hulk book during Chaos War, the story features Hulk “getting what he wants.” Pak isn’t revealing what that is, but he does tease that there may be other new projects down the line perhaps involving some of the characters he has worked on during his Hulk time. He also notes that this will be the emotional wrap-up of everything he has done with the Hulk in the years that he’s been writing the character.

Stay tuned to MC as we get you more up to the minute info from C2E2!

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
