Oh, look! It’s another one of those missing solicits!
Announced at C2E2, it looks like we’re getting a third “Guardians” book in the form of a Star-Lord ongoing by Samp Humphries and Paco Medina. Entitled “the Legendary Star-Lord,” the book is described as an outer space Western with humor and hijinks and the fate of the entire galaxy resting in his hands. It kinda sounds like what you’d expect from a book called “Guardians of the Galaxy,” but hey, they’re about to get a movie and everyone loves Chris Pratt and his ability to wear trench coats in zero gravity.
Plus, Sam Humphries and Paco Medina make a good creative team, so why not, right? I’ve always wondered if Star-Lord just listens to Blue Swede on repeat or if he mixes in some Prince in there or something, and now finally we may get the answer to that question! I am hooked on a feeling.
Look for this book to debut in July.
