Last year, Cameron Stewart and Karl Kerschl collaborated on an Assassin’s Creed comic that we reviewed as one of the best comics of the year. Accurate to a T and fantastically illustrated, it was by far proof that tie-in comics are worth their weight.

Now, in news that will assuredly excite fans (as it assuredly excited myself), Ubisoft, Cameron Stewart and Karl Kerschl are teaming up once again for Assassin’s Creed: The Chain, continuing the story of Daniel Cross and Nikolaï Orelov. Additionally, Assassin’s Creed: The Fall will be released in trade format in November with an exclusive epilogue only available in the trade (much to my chagrin, as someone who purchased and devoured the single issues).

No word on how long this series will be, but it’s safe to assume it will once again be three issues and come out November, timed for the release of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Either way, be excited!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
