The above image is of Captain America. On the cover of a British magazine. With a nice big American flag behind him. In a way, this seems odd to me – but I can’t quite figure out why…

The website for Empire also features a slightly smaller but still nice shot of Cap in his helmet, as seen above. In the article, Evans describes Cap/Steve as the ideal human, saying “Not just American. It’s what being a good person is. Steve’s managed to overcome all the shortcomings he’s had in life and he does what’s good and what he believes is right.”

Things are looking pretty good for the Marvel film camp right about now.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
