We initially debated not posting this because we didn’t want to take some of the fun away from C2E2, but I suppose news is news (and elbows and shoes… that’s the saying, right?).
So apparently, come June in conjunction with the new film, not only is Thor becoming the Mighty Thor but Captain America #6etc is becoming Captain America #1. Not only did we just get to the 600’s recently in celebration of Cap’s epic anniversary, but it is also rumored that Steve will once again be back in his iconic duds. I suppose that makes sense, what with Bucky being extradited for crimes he committed as the Winter Soldier. Might as well put top cop Steve Rogers back in his place?
It’s a little sad. I actually really liked Steve’s new outfit. But as long as Brubaker is still writing the book, I suppose it doesn’t matter. We’ll get you more news out of C2E2 as it happens.
