DC is doing a lot to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Superman, but honestly, nothing gets me going quite like this does. They’ve now released an animated short that takes us through the history of Supes, in publications, TV and movies, and it’s a beautifully done piece hitting on huge moments to the soundtrack of John Williams’ original theme and Hans Zimmer’s “Flight” piece from “Man of Steel”.
If you’re a fan of Superman, you pretty much have to watch this. It is truly awesome, and I think even as someone who just casually appreciates the character will like it as well.
