The short, based on Clevinger and Wegener’s comic, features the titular hero jumping out of a plane and getting ready to face out with the Iron Giant a metal behemoth. In the span of two years, The Fictory has grown from a one man operation in a spare bedroom, to a fully equipped operation working out of sister studio, Postage Inc. Atomic Robo: Last Stop is the second comic property The Fictory has adapted into an animated short film. In 2009 they released the award winning, American Terror: Company Man, based on Jeff McComsey’s Graphic Novel series. In addition to animation, The Fictory also manages the The Fictory Comics, a new website entirely featuring selective independent content.

About Atomic Robo
Atomic Robo, a print comic from Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener, chronicles the Action Science adventures of a robot that’s a little Ghostbusters and a little Indiana Jones crossed with a lot of Nikola Tesla. The series has recently shipped its fourth volume, and shows no signs of slowing down.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
