Just so you know, that’s not Chris Evans. That’s Chris Evans’ stunt double. But you still get a good look at what the character is going to look like in the onscreen adaptation, no?

So what do we have here? Well, this is an onset snapshot from a motorcycle sequence that will be in the upcoming Captain America movie. Also featured on the source site were pictures of nazi’s on futuristic motorbikes, as well as a nice looking 1940’s motorcar which I assume is being chased. Cap’s bike (picture below) is pretty bad ass, though. You might notice a gun right next to the wheel at the front of the bike, clearly for Cap to lean forward, grab, and take out some BAMF’s in his way. You can also see Cap’s wings painted on his helmet and a nice shiny shield on his back.

This is a long way of saying that the above image, even if it’s not Chris Evans, still looks great. I tried to find the name of his stunt double in the role but unfortunately couldn’t, so I’m afraid I can’t credit him. However, I do like this little taste of what Cap’s outfit is going to look like, even if a different man is inside the suit. It gives me high hopes for how this is going to look on the big screen, and despite the “it’s alright” concept art for his costume, it looks much better in this finished product.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
