I think in recent days I’ve been rather unabashed in my love of James Stokoe’s art. His infinite creativity and hyper-active/attentive detail is some of the most beautiful and original out there on the market. Whether it be through various bits of comic published online, Orc Stain, Wonton Soup, or a Strange Tales entry, James Stokoe continuously proves he is the man.

So yesterday, Stokoe published a fan comic online called Spider-‘Nam, re-imagining Spider-Man in Vietnam. It’s a poignant little comic and a great look at a Strange Tales that never was. Suffice it to say, it’s a great comic and we’re here to share it with you.

You can check out the whole thing out after the cut, or go to his website directly for a preview of Orc Stain #7, bits and pieces of a Bowie one-shot some concept art, and another unfinished comic called Nomad. And while you’re at it, you should buy Orc Stain or Wonton Soup parts 1 and 2. You won’t regret any of the purchases.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
