Hopefully my incredibly blunt title illustrates the … mild underwhelming nature of this.
Anyways, the first shots of Chris Evans as Captain America showed up online. No costumes yet, but Chris Evans has seriously bulked up. A lot. I mean, seriously, look at that. He’s a freakin’ super soldier. Of course… I’d love to see him in costume too.
On the top side of the post, we have a shot of someone watching the filming of Captain America, with a car exploding, windows shattering, and Chris Evans standing around and watching. Suffice it to say, I think this is going to be an action film!
My snark aside, I am really excited for the film. Chris Evans looks good, and doesn’t really look like Chris Evans here so much as he does a new version of the same actor, so that’s a plus. While I am not expecting the movie to be handed to me on a silver spoon right now (though it would be nice!) I am excited to see what comes out of this.
