Starting with issue #12, rising star artist Chris Samnee will be joining the creative team of writer Mark Waid and artist Paolo Rivera. According to Samnee on Twitter, he and Rivera will be alternating arcs on the book.
Personally, I can’t even begin to imagine someone who would be a better fit on the book. Samnee is a remarkable talent, and like Rivera, does a superb job of blending new touches with a retro-like style. This book is already one of the most critically acclaimed around, and with Samnee in tow? It only looks to get better.
