A couple weeks back, I emailed the writing staff of MC asking if I should make a rumor mill post based off a simple emoticon used between industry giant Brian Michael Bendis and up-and-coming artist Chris Samnee. When Samnee tweeted:

Bendis responded with a simple smiley face emoticon. My creator team-up sense began tingling, but I didn’t post anything.
Now I’m posting anything, because it’s been confirmed: Chris Samnee will be working on “Ultimate Comics Spider-Man” #155 with Bendis (the one right before Mark Bagley returns). Whether or not he’ll be joining David Lafuente and Sara Pichelli as a regular member of the squad is uncertain, but I can say this: he’s very welcome on the book. His art style should be perfect for it.
