Comic Twart has quickly become one of my favorite comic sites on the Internet, giving a list of superb artists (including Detective Comics back-up artist Francesco Francavilla, Fear Agent’s Mike Hawthorne, and 28 Days Later/Thunderbolts artist Declan Shalvey) one subject weekly to create an original illustration of.
My favorite offerings are often from Thor: The Mighty Avenger artist Chris Samnee, and this week is no different. The theme of the week is Superman, and Samnee brings the entirety of Superman: The Movie to Twart fans in a black-and-white 6 panel rendition. It’s fantastic, and incredibly impressive to see Samnee pull of this feat in just 6 panels. Feast your eyes to the image on the left, my friends.
